Youth mentor leads are experienced mentors who take an active leadership role in expanding mentorship within their communities. Rather than solely providing one-on-one guidance, they proactively create new mentorship opportunities by identifying potential mentees, recruiting and training additional mentors, and structuring programs that connect young preprofessional students with supportive mentors.

Additionally, Youth Mentor Leads proactively seek out and develop presentation opportunities, delivering talks at local high schools and universities to raise awareness about effective strategies for becoming a successful preprofessional student.
