Our mentors are carefully selected, well-rounded medical students with strong academic backgrounds who come from a variety of experiences and perspectives. They play an active role in MedRise by hosting talks and speaking at universities and high schools, sharing guidance on pursuing medicine and explaining the steps needed to apply to medical school.
Our mentors are located across the United States and have attended many different universities. They are trained to support students with a wide range of topics, including the pre-med pathway, medical school applications, volunteering opportunities, interview preparation, and personal statement guidance. Students who apply to become mentees can receive this mentorship and support completely free of charge.
